Bachelor Of Computer Application
Curriculum
The objective of the BCA program is to prepare students to be part of teams that imagine, pecify, design, justify, build, implement, manage, maintain and use information systems. To accomplish this objective, graduates must understand how to use information technology, including hardware, software, and telecommunications, as a conduit for the value-added information content of formal organisational systems. The program is designed to impart professional competence in developing software and in its design and implementation together with sound presentation and communication skills, which are required in the computer industry.
Eligilbilty
The student is eligible for BCA Program if he/she has a 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject or equivalent qualification or a 3 year Diploma from a State Board of Technical Education.
Duration
BCA is of three academic years duration and conducted in six semesters and a candidate who is admitted to BCA Program shall complete the degree within twice the duration of the Program i.e. six years from the date of his admission failing which he has to seek admission afresh.
