Curriculum

The MSc (IT) program is designed to equip graduate students with an integrated set of skills that will allow them to enhance their professional careers in this area of Information Technology. The program not only presents the knowledge in the design and implementation of computer applications but also prepares students to embrace future developments in the field and has a demonstrated professional relevance. At the end of this program, the student will possess strong foundation of Computer Science and Information Technology and also the managerial ability to analyse, design, develop, manage and maintain software.

Eligilbilty

  1. Graduates in BCA / BE / B.Tech / AMIE /B.Sc (IT) / B.Sc(CS) from any recognized university are eligible OR
  2. Graduates in B.Sc with mathematics as one of the major optional are also eligible OR
  3. Graduates in any discipline along with PGDIT are eligible OR

Duration

MSc-IT is of two academic years duration and conducted in four semesters and a candidate who is admitted to MSc (IT) Program shall complete the degree within twice the duration of the Program i.e. four years from the date of his admission failing which he has to seek admission afresh.

1) A Candidate has to choose one from the list as an Elective-1 in Third Semester and an another from the same list As an Elective 2 in the Fourth Semester
