Master of Science (Mathmatics)

Curriculum

This program has the following broad objectives:

·         To emphasize the relevance and usefulness of mathematics from an application point of view

·         To equip the learners with the core mathematical knowledge and training necessary for use in many application areas

·         To expose the learner to real life problems and promote the use of mathematics in industry.

·         To develop a work force that is equipped with the mathematical skills that are necessary in the changing industrial and economic scenario of the country

Eligilbilty

B.Sc /B.A/B.Sc.Ed. from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the Major Subjects. OR
B.E / B.Tech from a recognized University

Duration

MSc - Mathematics is of two academic years duration and conducted in for semesters and a candidate who is admitted to Msc - Mathematics Program shall complete the degree within twice the duration of the Program i.e. four years from the date of his admission failing which he has to seek admission afresh.
