Bachelor of Arts
Curriculum
The objectives of the Bachelor of Arts Program are to provide students with an outstanding education in the humanities, social sciences and languages. The degree is designed to enable a graduate to demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of selected fields of study. The program also focuses on enhancing the students' interpersonal and communication skills to enable them to function effectively and contribute to the performance of their organizations.
Eligibility
The student is eligible for BA if he/she has a 10+2 or any equivalent qualification (Regulation II) OR the student has completed 18 years of age on 1 July 2013 (Regulation I). Candidates applying under Regulation II shall mention the details of 10 + 2 or PUC or its equivalent under qualifying examination passed. If the candidate is applying under Regulation I, he/she may mention the examinations, if any, passed by him/her. Bachelors Preparatory Program (BPP) is compulsory for students who are seeking admission under Regulation I.
Duration
BA Program is of three academic years duration and a candidate who is admitted to BA Program shall complete the degree within twice the duration of the Program i.e. six years from the date of his admission failing which he has to seek admission afresh.
